A: Absolutely not! Your information is NEVER given to anybody.  We ask for basic information in order to add a pin to the map, to send you an e-mail with sign up confirmation, and to alert you of any needed software updates.

Q: Is the Liberty Connect software secure?

A: There is no content going through Liberty Connect, so a virus cannot latch on to anything, the time that your computer is logged into Liberty Connect is mere minutes, and the system has many layers of security protection.  Someone who is surfing the Internet is far, far more likely to have an issue with computer security than the person running Liberty Connect.  The software is 4 years old, was developed by an advanced technology company, and has tens of thousands of satisfied users.

Q: Will Liberty Connect affect my computer processing?

A: No.  It runs quietly in the background so you will not be impacted at all, and it’s task of supporting liberty messages takes just minutes.

Q: How will my computers be used?

A: Computers with Liberty Connect are simply pinged when it is their turn in rotation to support the content of the group for which you are signing up.  Your computer logs into Liberty Connect, takes an action (Like, Tweet, Digg, Vote, etc.), and logs out.

Q: Will I have to use my personal or business accounts on social networks for Liberty Connect?

A: No.  Liberty Connect creates a new account on each social network that is totally anonymous.

Q: Is Liberty Connect a “botnet” or involve spam?

A: No.  Botnets are used for spamming and other malicious, unwanted activities.  You are merely making a request of your computer to automate what you would do normally…support liberty promoting content.

Q: Is there any required cost?

A: The creators of Liberty Connect have given significant a time and treasure to the cause to make this possible.  We know that many have been impacted by the state of our economy, so we will not keep any concerned citizens from signing up.  For those who can help, your contribution at the lowest level of $2/month will pay for the cost to host you on the Liberty Connect servers.  At the lowest level, this is half the price of a fancy cup of coffee, which does not promote liberty.  A little goes a long way with Liberty Connect in supporting freedom, and as we know, Freedom Is Not Free.
